The Origin Story is a conceptual framework on how creation could have
happened, based on my recent explorations into wave simulations. The project
has been assimilated into a paper title "The Big Reflect - the universe as a
wave in a boundary, experiencing itself ".

For ease of understanding, I have condensed the paper and the experiments into
a video generated with the help of NotebookLM. This is a 7.5 mins video and
can give you a summary of the whole project:
Origin Story Explorations
Below are the original Origin Story explorations with
wave-simulations starting from a visualization of the universe forming from a
zero-state.
17-08-2025
In the beginning there was a "zero-state"; which was null, void and can't be
imagined. Because of the paradox of existence, for the null state to exist,
there was a non-null state, called presence. Now this presence, in the form of
a pulse (like a breath), moves out of the null to form a crest and then back
to the null and then out of the null to form a trough (imagine a circle or a
sine wave). Now because a crest or trough could be infinite if unbounded, for
creation to occur a boundary condition had to be there. And thus it all
starts. This configuration of the pulse in a boundary leads to the emergence
of creation.
At first the pulse was 0 dimensional as in a dot pulsing (top-left in the
video) out of the null. It then expands itself from its centre into a line
segment, which then becomes the boundary (top-right), while the pulse
continues reflecting within the line segment. The reflection causes
interferences (just like any wave interfering with itself).
Now the pulse again divides the boundary from the centre and spreads across
(perpendicular to the line segment) to the next dimension which is a plane, in
this case, a square. The pulse itself becomes a circular pulse and then
continues its act of reflections within the square. We can see the
interference patterns more evidently now (bottom-left).
The division process again continues when the presence pulse divides the
boundary from the centre of the plane and moves perpendicular to either
directions of the surface of the plane to form a cubical boundary. The pulse
itself becomes a spherical pulse. Now it is a spherical wave inside a cube,
reflecting and forming more complex interference patterns(bottom-right). This
division can go on and on until multiple dimensions (hypercube etc). And hence
creating interferences across dimensions.
(It is possible that after a certain dimension (6?) that it goes back to a 0
dimension. It is also possible that the formation of each dimension is not
sequential, but simultaneous. But Im not going into that here)
Nevertheless here is how this could translate into creation:
1) If this "presence" (as opposed to the null) is the base of all of existence
and can be thought of as a quantum field, solidity or physical reality gets
formed when the wave function collapses when the field interferes with its
reflections beyond a certain threshold. Now I cant prove that these
interferences can lead to particles forming, but I think that beyond a certain
threshold of a parameter of the wave, physicality could appear. Another way to
look at it is that physicality is illusory because the person perceiving a
physical object also is made up of these waves. And the perception or
interaction between the person and the object also creates an interference in
this field. This creates wave function collapses at points in the interference
patterns, hence the "experience" of solidity. Even then at the underlying
level it still is part of a larger ordered wave.
2) Because interferences (due to reflections) can lead to holography, we can
see how at scales the universe repeats itself. It also parallels how things at
scales are connected to each other. And how we all are connected to each
other.
3) If this presence field can be called as consciousness, it parallels
panpsychism. That everything is conscious. But it would be better to say,
everything has presence. Because the waves form everything, and that too in a
mathematical order, this also points that (at a grander scale) free will and
the ego is an emergent factor. In a way, it is an illusion. So everything
happens because of the interference of waves in a certain order.
4) In a
previous video of the isometric view of the spherical wave in a cube
which I shared, we can see that the metatrons cube, the flower of life
arrangement and multiple other sacred geometric figures emerge without
intentionally coding it. Thus the possibility of having platonic solids in the
interference patterns at highly zoomed in scales is high.
5) Quantum entanglement is not so spooky in the sense that the interferences
are all connected across spatial and other dimensions.
Thoughts worth exploring:
1) If this presence which emerges out of the null as a wave can be indeed
considered cyclical, then we can see how everything moves from creation to
destruction and back. That nothing is permanent and everything that has a
beginning has an end.
2) On the contrary if it is not cyclical or perhaps it is cyclical at local
levels (like the pulse moving in and out) and not universally, then the whole
of universe is just moving towards increasing complexities of interfering with
itself and resolving to an "almost" null state (the pulse passing through zero
and back) and back. Metaphorically, the universe is trying to rediscover
itself through ever-complex ways.
3) If all dimensions and all interferences and waveforms are simultaneously
"there" rather than created step by step, we can imagine how moving through
these interferences by "observation" or presence gives rise to time or the
feeling of it. (In a way block universe). Im not sure how this movement could
happen. But hypothetically if we could get this whole system simulated, we
could possibly see what happens in the future; and know the past.
4) This can and can't support the multiple universe theory because the
complexity of the interferences could be so high that it could create such
parallel universes. But even then they would not be independent, and they
would still be connected.
5) At a human psychology level, this means that we too operate as waves going
through life, resolving out from a null state and back to the null state. I
explain this more in
the wave model described here
.
Can we test this? Perhaps mathematically? Perhaps by creating a complex
simulation such that we can literally zoom in to the interferences and study
them? Im not sure. But will keep exploring.
Update (18-08-2025)
I tried a new configuration where there is an internal boundary (circle,
sphere etc) too. This is because I learnt about the Quantum Sinai Billiard
configuration and that this config can create fractal-like structures as
compared to just a square/cube boundary. We can think of it as the presence
expanding out of a null core (black holes, the heart etc.)
I couldn't figure the exact ratio, for now I took the internal circle diameter to be half the length of the square side. The motion looks chaotic as predicted. Need to see if there is more to this...

Update (30-08-2025)
The above configuration led to beautiful results, especially with this video I
called Singularity. You can see how this is much more organic as compared to
the previous iterations.
For the longest time I was wondering how a toroidal format would emerge from
the configurations like that in the Singularity video. I learnt that a
toroidal form could be made from a square surface when: 1) the opposite edges
of the square are continuous (as in, what goes through one edge, emerges out
of the opposite edge), and 2) we connect opposite edges such that it forms a
cylinder first and then a torus. Now this was a neat topological jump for me.
But I quickly understood that the kind of visualizations that I got by using,
say, the origin story square format (2D) was very much asymmetric and
unaligned. I then tried to imagine how a different version of the toroid could
be formed. Now unlike normal square configurations, I am assuming that beyond
the boundaries of the square in the origin story video, as well as the central
circle boundary- both are a null state, a sort of singularity. (Because of the
symmetry of the wave, reflection at the boundary and continuity provides same
results). Now because both boundaries are a singularity, I tried to imagine
them sucked into a sort of blackhole.
That is, all the edges of the square were merged together into one
single point, and then I connected the same by folding through the
opposite side with the very centre of the square which again is a point
of singularity
. Thus I got a beautiful "horn-torus" config which provided a unique view of
the universe:
In the video you can see the wave start from the centre (like a Big Bang of
sorts) and then moves to the opposite side of the torus, reflects back and
makes interference patterns. These patterns are holographic and fractal
(previously discussed) and can be periodic, but ever evolving. It is like an
infinity mirror and could possibly go on forever, and yet there are
periodicities where portions of it (small or large) can dip to the null
state.
This config can now be extended to all other dimensions; like merging
faces of the cube to its centre for a 4D torus etc.
Now there are symmetrically 4 sections in the torus because of the folding of
the square. Does this mean all of these sections are similar or same
throughout the universe? Im not sure yet.
Update: 31-08-2025
I just read about the concept of the "Black Mirror" which posits black holes
to be a mirror with CPT symmetry. That is, the black hole creates a mirror of
the universe after, say, the Big Bang with Charge-Parity-Time symmetry. This
helps me explain my original config of the wave starting at the central
blackhole and reflecting back and forth. Let me explain:
Let's take the example of the 2D square configuration in the first section.
The centre of the square is a black hole. And the edges are also a
singularity/black hole. If we consider both of these as mirrors, we can
imagine waves reflecting back and forth between these mirrors and at every
reflection a phase inversion happens (just like in the simulation videos
above). This relfections interfere and create complex patterns, which can be
holographic and self-similar. This keeps on going and on creating an ever
evolving complex universe. Now from the horn-torus model, we see that both
these black holes are the same. Thus the whole of the universe rests inside a
blackhole.
Update: 01-09-2025
When I thought about how a wave starts from a singularity and reflects off
another, (which in the torus model is the same single point), it was a bit
counter intuitive, because the singularity acted as a source and reflector at
different instances. So instead of starting once and reflecting, I tried the
configuration where a wave and its mirror start simultaneously from either end
of the torus mid-point (like the
Big Bang as a mirror
model). This is how it came out:
So this seemed like a good representation of the universe as I see it from the
above explorations. I call it the Tororium:
Update 5-09-2025
One thing that still bothered me with the above configurations was trying to
understand if these configs could produce spirals or blackholes at smaller
scales. It did have a holographic composition. But could I see it? Today I
stumbled upon something: I didn't just produce one wave, but a sequence of
infinite waves which led me to finding the swirls and black hole like
patterns! It did retain subtly the lines that defined the flower of life and
other sacred geometries, but it was filled with these circular structures.
(High chance that people know these as patterns that emerge in such
compositions, but, have we thought of them as the holographic universe?)
Update 06–09–2025
I had to figure out what is the perfect wavelength for this wave. I
intuitively did a 1/4th of the square width. And when I read what Walter
Russell wrote, I understood that this was an octave-configuration. So
everything fit nice and cosy into this video.
Here is the same with 3D in isometric view, first without internal boundary:
And then with internal boundary:
The Big Bouncy Apple
An infinite circular wave originates from the center of a square
and propagates outward toward its edges. Simultaneously, mirror
waves are generated at the edges of the square and travel inward
toward the center. The edges are perfectly reflective and
non-dissipative. This configuration results in interference
patterns within the square due to the interactions between the
mirror waves and due to reflections. The wavelength of the wave
is equal to one-fourth the length of the square's side.
The square is then topologically transformed into a horn torus
by collapsing its sides to a single point and connecting them to
the center of the square from opposite poles. In this horn torus
configuration, mirror waves emanate from either side of the
central point, traveling toward the surface and generating
interference patterns.
This configuration can be extended and repeated across other
dimensions.
Update 13-09-2025
I tried the config with 6 wavelengths between the centre and the
boundary. I used this again because of the octave scale, but
considering the first and last of the octave to be the source and sink.
(Warning, the video flickers fast)
Interestingly this gave a periodic motion, not just locally, but globally too.
Update 14-09-2025
I tried the config with 7 wavelengths between the centre and the boundary,
inspired from Itzhak Bentov:
Surprisingly, this gave me the most stable and yet, periodic energy graph so
far. There should be something to this.
Update: 16-09-2025
I again folded the same into a torus (folding process above), with some
transparency this time.
Multiple folks suggested
www.horntorus.com
and I today I decided to read it and understand it. The folding from one
dimension to a 3D horn-torus seemed really interesting. I need to delve
further. Although the folding style I used moves from 1D>2D,
2D>3D,3D>4D etc. Slight difference but again, I do not know where all
this is going.
I now decided to also add rotation to the configuration. There are two
inspirations for this: 1) a few months back during active imagination, I went
to an esoteric library where a book showed me a bobbing pin in water which
then rotates around splashing the water which then changes into stars and
galaxies and more. 2) today's reading of the horntorus.com website gave me the
idea of spin in a torus.
Now I've explored rotation before (check WaveWorld project). But this is more
focussed on the current config.
Surprisingly, this config in grayscale gave a smooth Gaussian graph.
And then I projected the same again into a horn-torus:
Update 21-09-2025
Synchronicities don't surprise me anymore. I bought a Schumann resonance
generator a few days back. Today a random thought came to me- to try a
circular boundary. I tried different frequencies for the waves, none of them
gave a consistent energy graph. But, when I used the Schumann resonance
(wavelength=gridSize/7.83), I got a gaussian graph and a standing wave.
Browsing Threads I found
Elizabeth Rose Halligan posted something similar
.
Either way, here is the standing wave pattern that was generated and the
periodic gaussian graph:
Update 11-10-2025
I increased the speed of the wave in the singularity configuration to 2.99
(derived from the speed of light). I got these hexagonal packets and a larger
wheel shape. It does look like a standing wave with smaller hexagonal packets.
It does work with any high speeds. Although these are unstable and disappear
after a while, the hexagonal packets gives a holographic property to the whole
configuration.
Update 21-10-2025
I have a feeling Im reaching the conclusion of this project.
I tried a simple configuration of a circular wave in a circular boundary. It
gave a square-like pattern at the centre which I thought was an error
initially, but I realised it is an actual phenomenon. While trying out
different versions of the configuration, I discovered these lotus-like
patterns around it. This reminded me of the description of Nun:
"In the beginning the universe only consisted of a great chaotic cosmic
ocean, and the ocean itself was referred to as Nun. The universe was
enrapt by a vast mass of primordial waters, and the Benben, a pyramid
mound, emerged amid this primal chaos. There was a lotus flower with
Benben, and from this when it blossomed emerged Ra. There were many
versions of the sun's emergence, and it was said to have emerged
directly from the mound or from a lotus flower that grew from the
mound, in the form of a heron, falcon, scarab beetle, or human child."
Text taken directly from the Wikipedia page for Nun:

Im calling this video "AIN"
:
Update on this video: This video was actually an error. The squarish patterns
were created by the grid anisotropies in the simulation
Update 16–11–2025
Alright, I think I will conclude this project with an alternate visualisation
of the rotating waves on a torus:
Inspried from Mathelirium’s
post
, i converted the above into a standing wave pattern with extrusions at the
nodes. It became this beautiful video which I call the Thousand Petalled
Lotus:
Thank you all for reading this project. I hope to compile all of the insights
of this project into a paper. I’ll post the link to the same here soon.
